The Grand Hotel Union has probably the best location in town, just @ the main square. The exterior and interiors both included old-world charm. Differnet strokes for differnet folks, it’s always interesting to stay in a hotel of historical significance. We landed at Istanbuls International Atatürk Airport and went straight to the Ciragan Palace Kempinski. The lovely 5star luxury hotel of the Kempinski Group was formerly the palace of an Ottoman Sultan. We took the nightrain from Bangkok to Laos and checked in “The 3 Nagas”, a charming boutique hotel in Luang Prabang, Laos.
