Wow.

That sounds amazing.

The hotel is located near the historic city of Évora in Portugal’s Alentejo region.

A redesigned space is dedicated to honoring the rich winemaking heritage of the area. This unique venue is now open to offer immersive experiences centered around portugeses wine and gastronomy, welcoming both local and
international visitors, from wine experts and enthusiasts to winemakers and curious guests.

Previously used for the MICE industry, this space has been transformed into a welcoming, sophisticated retreat that brings together nearly 140 wine makers and over 300 different wines.

“Our vision for the Enoteca is to create a new home for Alentejo wines and celebrate the best producers from the region,” says Sérgio Duarte GM of Octant Évora.

“It’s a place where all certified Alentejo producers are represented. But more than just a tasting room, the Enoteca will offer experiences: guided tastings and unforgettable moments where wine lovers can connect with the makers behind the wines.”

Lets call it a true celebration of Alentejo’s identity.

Sessions with guest producers, offering in-depth knowledge of specific grape varieties, winemaking techniques, and Alentejo’s unique terroir. These sessions are paired with exclusive dinners, creating a full sensory experience.

It will include culinary experiences: An interactive gastronomic experience for groups of up to 20, where participants learn to prepare traditional Alentejo dishes using fresh, local ingredients, paired with regional wines.

Wine O’Clock: A daily opportunity to explore a curated selection of white, red, and rosé wines, paired with regional delicacies such as cheeses and cured meats.

A casual and accessible way to discover the diverse world of Alentejo wines.

Futhermore a Chef’s Table by Executive Chef Natanael Silva, this intimate tasting experience draws inspiration from traditional Alentejo cuisine, reimagined with a contemporary twist.

Wine tastings and themed dinners: Featuring renowned producers from Alentejo, these events allow guests to get to know the winemakers, taste their wines, and enjoy specially designed menus.

The wine shop offers a curated selection of wines carefully chosen to represent the diversity and quality of the region, allowing visitors to take a piece of Alentejo home.

The Enoteca can also be reserved for exclusive events, a perfect setting for special celebrations or professional gatherings with a unique touch.
