A special experience in Schwerin.

Schwerin, what a beautiful city. I checked in at the 4-star Best Western Seehotel Frankenhorst.

In glorious idyll lakeside you will find a combination of nature and culture.

Nestled in a quiet park on the Ziegelaußensee in Schwerin it offers a great spa with a oudoor sauna.

The element of water is always present: in the swimming area, on the dock with pedal boats, in the lake sauna on a floating pontoon, for the subsequent cooling of the jump makes in the lake, in the glass-enclosed swimming pool of the wellness area and of course the magnificent view across the lake from the restaurant, a summer terrace and from the rooms out.

Our room was very spacious with walk-in toilet and a large balcony.
Furthermore a perfect view and a nice style.

The hotel owes its name to the author Hans Franck, who created this wonderfully located property in the first third of the last century as an inspiring home – and he has been set the Hans Franck Library.
Truly a “monument”. In this beautiful weather, I read a book at the terrace of the restaurant “boathouse” and enjoyed a nice food with a Secco Rosé. A perfect couple.

Pets are welcome here. Dogs anyway, but there are two donkeys that have their asses Hotel, two Alpaccas, a cat, geese – all have their own houses or huts.
Those who fancy spa, wellness and beauty go to the “Lago Spa“. Facial and body treatments, classic or exotic massages, wraps, beauty treatments, the light-flooded swimming pool overlooking the lake perfect place to relax.
Schwerin, the state capital of Mecklenburg-Vorpommern is the smallest state in Germany, but surely one of the finest. Known for its picturesque winding old town, her fairytale-magnificent castle and the beautiful lakes Schwerin is always worth a trip. In addition to the fantastic architecture countless small shops with pretty little things are worth seeing, and there are numerous restaurants, for example, the Friedrich’s, which opened in one of the oldest neoclassical houses of the eastern Pfaffenteich page. After a day exploring the city I found peace and quietness at the Seehotel.
Perfect time.

Living in style.
