Incredible Travel to India. Contributed by Ben Harvest. We’ve been on our way to spiritual ideas in India. Some places on earth are fascinating with nerve and simply dizzying style. Mumbai International Airport integrated passenger terminals for international flights, followed by a phased transition for domestic flights. The terminal, which will handle 40 million passengers a year, is awarding contracts for running duty-free shops, lifestyle stores, food and beverage outlets and parking. For the following story Ben spend a breathless week in Mumbai and visited…Continue Reading “A glorious home in South Mumbai / Incredible India”

Treehotel – The cabin – Luleá / Sweden Text: Jens Hoffmann Summer is the ideal time for relaxing an d getting away from it all. I love ecoluxury locations and the treehotel in Luleå is an extraordinary place. First we went to the Bocuse D’or event 2014 in Stockholm, after this straight to Luleá, to find our treehotel. It was really an unusual experience, a treehotel is something you must been seen and felt to be understood. Britta’s Pensionat is the gateway to the wonders…Continue Reading “First cut is the deepest – first night in a lovely Treehotel – The cabin – Luleá / Sweden”

Incredible India – contributed by Rajeev Miller It was great fun to be at the Carnoustie Ayurveda Wellness & Resort. The owners created a haven of peace and tranquility, the perfect place to rejuvenate in the lap of natural luxury. The plans for the structure are as simple as its appereances set up near the beach. There is simple, but luxury wooden interior and plan that divides the basic volumes in two, the villas offers more architectual surprises that its upper-story profile announces from exterior….Continue Reading “Esoteric luxury Carnoustie Ayurveda & Wellness Resort, India”

Bamboo Style in Indonesia / Bali by Jens Hoffmann Nestled among the lush forests of Bali, near the hill town of Ubud, is one of the island’s most remarkable villages. It’s not just that each of the 18 homes of Green Village is constructed almost entirely from bamboo, it is more. The flights of fancy here are all about blending in with the surrounding environment, to create a house from bamboo that feels at one with its setting, rather than imposed, like some castle, upon…Continue Reading “Bali in luxury sustainable style – Bamboo houses / Bali / Indonesia”

Laid-back luxury on Bali. Bali offers luxurious villas and adventurous tours to remote corners of the island. Villa Lumbung / Lombok is based on a Sumatran rice barn design and houses one king-sized bed and its own full bathroom. To swim in the bubbly waves of the Indian Ocean is always great if you are in the mood you should visit Pura Luhur, an 11th-century Hindu temple overrun with thieving monkeys. Filthy, sweaty and sunburnt, we return to our hotel at dusk. We are staying…Continue Reading “Paradise on earth – Villa Lumbung / Bali / Indonesia”

Finland by Nicoel Neugebauer. We checked in a beautifully Art & Design villa and enjoyed the finish ”art of doing nothing” which is what Finnish summers is all about. If you travel to Finland you will feel that they are all waiting for the summer. In summer, it’s a wonderful sight. As a stark contrast to the long and dark winter, Finland’s summer months are warm and light – in the most Northern parts of Finland the sun stays up for over 70 consecutive days….Continue Reading “Stay in a lovely villa in Anttolanhovi – Finland”

Another favourite place of mine, landing on JFK makes me always happy, even when the Immigration torture sucks. House & Hotel Magazine features one of New York City’s nicest hotels: The Plaza Athénée. We felt like a proper New Yorker wandering the tree-lined streets surrounding the Plaza Athénée. Comfortably ensconced amid the grand townhouses and luxury boutiques of the Upper East Side, this Sex and the City romantic dream hotel (its Bar Seine lounge was featured in one episode) oozes the kind of warmth that…Continue Reading “If you make it here – Hotel Plaza Athénée / NY / USA”

Me gusta, I like the ups and downs of life. We enjoyed this special location. We flew in via NY, LA and travelled to Mèxico. If you like different luxury style even luxury cabins, you should try this place. So watch out for this design hotel on a secluded hill in the wine-growing region of Valle de Guadalupe. The luxury cabins bring you into direct contact with the nature. Blending seamlessly with the surrounding landscape, the expansive views of the mountains and fertile wine-growing soils…Continue Reading “One week in México – Endémico”

Hydra 2010. By Jens Hoffmann I love Greece. Arriving on this picturesque gem of an island is like stepping into a painting. The distinctive neo-classical stone mansions of Hydra Town rise above the picture-pretty port, where cafés and donkeys await their next expedition along cobbled lanes. Hydra is twice the size of neighbouring island “Spetses” but has an even smaller population of around 4,000 people. So nice to here on Hydra in the region Attica. The beautiful eco island with many claims to fame. Just…Continue Reading “Kalimera – Great days on Hydra – Hotel Miranda / Hydra / Greece”

Sleepless in Tel Aviv. Contributed by Jens Hoffmann. We spent a couples of days at the Dead Sea, Jerusalem and Tel Aviv. Tel Aviv is always a good time city. The light, the air, the food is outstanding and the beach inviting even in November. With the beach, an engaging contemporary art and design scene, UNESCO world heritage Bauhaus architecture, an internationally traveler scene you’ll do equally well in Tel Aviv whether you’re a pilgrim, hedonist or normal tourist. By the way, Tel Aviv has…Continue Reading “Sleepless in Jaffa – Herods Hotel Tel Aviv”

Don’cry for me Argentina. We love “The Pulitzer” The place is fantastic, it is located in plaza San Martin and it fits perfect with the Buenos Aires identity and we loved to stay there for a couple of days. Nestled between the frenetic hustle of Microcentro and the leafy old-world charm of the Recoleta – a well-heeled district known to locals as “Little Paris” – the hotel offers a unique vantage from which to take in the city. The place is housed in a contemporary…Continue Reading “Do not cry for me Argentina – The Pulitzer / Buenos Aires / Argentina”
