Incredible India – contributed by Rajeev Miller

It was great fun to be at the Carnoustie Ayurveda Wellness & Resort. The owners created a haven of peace and tranquility, the perfect place to rejuvenate in the lap of natural luxury.
The plans for the structure are as simple as its appereances set up near the beach.

There is simple, but luxury wooden interior and plan that divides the basic volumes in two, the villas offers more architectual surprises that its upper-story profile announces from exterior.

Nothing will come between you and the things you love to do is not only a slogan. The eco-luxury boutique style place eco friendly resort is designed to pamper and relax.

The luxury furnished villas have all a private pool and timber laden decks. All the villas are a perfect fusion of traditional Kerala architecture. Well appointed rooms, lavish bathrooms, artistically designed walk-in dressers ensure the comfort you are looking for in a holiday resort.
Its a fantastic tropical experience, nestled amidst lush tropical greenery, all villas are designed to relax in a perfect tranquil retreat.

The staff, the gardes and the nature is a perfect companion. Be it the sun and sand of an unspoilt stretch of beach, or an eco friendly villa made of local thatch set in a peaceful tropical green setting with palms waving in the breeze. Frolic in the water, revel in the breeze and above all, be pampered by the unique ways in which the staff make you happy. It’s as though the sun is captured and the resort vast expanses of unspoilt beach invited us to soak it in.

For culinary reason you are not goin to a spiritual resort like this, but is it not true, set amidst beautifully landscaped gardens, the resto serve you the local delicacies cooked to perfection. You can choose from an array of regional seafood delicacies at the “CHIMAERA” the sea food restaurant. If you yearn for the familiar, they serve multi- cuisine delicacies too.

The resorts drawing of the nature discovery are committed to the environment and have adopted a green policy, following green energy conservation techniques, minimal lighting and use recycled water for the landscaping. The staff ensures that procedures are monitored and maintained. All villas are designed eco-friendly and use exhaustible materials like Jute, Rattan Mats and wood which exemplify to respect the environment we live in.

My personal highlight was the Ayurveda concept, it completed the knowledge for long life or ayurvedic medicine as a system of traditional medicine native to India and a form of alternative medicine. At Carnoustie Ayurveda and Wellness Resort, signature individualised ayurvedic treatments based on this 5,000 year old legacy of natural healing combined with the benefits of yoga under trained supervision cleanse and rejuvenate.

The Spa, offers the best of Yoga, Ayurveda and naturopathy treatments packaged for each guest and it is designed to rejuvenation, body purification, slimming, anti-stress and beauty packages which help you to relax, detox and improve your well-being.

My soul was on holidays.

Kerala has emerged as the most acclaimed tourist destination of the country in the recent past. Its varied demography coupled with its enthralling natural beauty has very fittingly earned it the sobriquet of being “God’s own country”. The World Travel and Tourism Council has selected Kerala as a “Partner State”. The House & Hotel magazine names Kerala as one of the greatest paradises of the world and must see destinations of a lifetime.

Ok, that sound ambitious.

Its worth it and we enjoyed our stay in incredible India.

If you travel further up north in direction Pakistan, you should not miss the border ceremony.

Living in style.
