We tasted Ottawa & Vancouver.

After all, these Canada cities definitely belongs on your bucket list.

Winter, with its storms and rains and the Niagara are great.
Yes.

But we love warmer weather and food.

Canadas pride itself is not just on its language but also on the quality of its food.

Poutine could be called the national dish, a strange mixture of French fries, cheese curds and gravy.

It’s something I’m going to try to avoid on my gourmet rail journey, this will definitely not be the gravy train, rather the gastronomic

Yummy.
Lets start to travel.

In spring and summer, everything is magnificent.

Vancouver – belongs to the cities with the best quality of life – is a paradise for outdoor freaks, as the rainforests grow right up to the city’s outskirts.

Whales can be seen from Vancouver’s beaches. Snow-capped mountain peaks are also reflected in the Manhattan-worthy skyline. In the last few years, the metropolis of 2.8 million has also developed into a true paradise for foodies and trendsetters.

Anyone planning a week-long city trip and its surroundings needs a hotel with perfect logistical access to all the sights in Vancouver and Ottawa.

This isn’t the only advantage that makes the Fairmont Chateau Laurier in Ottawa the ideal home base.

Located directly in the city center, it offers spectacular views across the city.

Its style is characterized by architecture and elegant interiors.

It pampers its guests with a spa that specializes in immune-boosting cold treatments and offers a view to die for.

Enjoy.

Lets go on to Vancouver.

If you want to meet Vancouver’s creative scene in the evening, just go on the street

What do you need to include in your time in Vancouver?

Conveniently, buses to Grouse Mountain or the Capilano Bridge depart diagonally opposite the entrance to the Pacific Rim.

These are two real highlights that transport visitors to a natural setting that is as exciting as it is deeply relaxing. B

Ferries to Vancouver Island are waiting just 20 meters from the bus stop.

But if you only have about a few days here, it’s better to plan a separate trip for the 450-kilometer-long and 100-kilometer-wide island.

This wild beauty with its extraordinary flora and fauna definitely deserves it.

After all, Vancouver has a wonderful nature reserve right on your doorstep. The Stanley Park, with its rose gardens, totem poles, and famous aquarium belongs on the list.

One of the most beautiful walks Vancouver has to offer is along the marina with its magnificent green spaces and the glittering skyline just beyond.

Just enjoy.

Living in style.
