Egypt is always cultural fun.
As soon as the new, large Egyptian Museum in Giza, within sight of the pyramids, is opened, the old historical museum on Tahir Square from the late 1920s will be closed and completely renovated with funds from several partners.
A perfect place to stay is the Nile Hilton Cairo, directly across the Nile and nearby the famous Egyptian Museum.
When you enter the Hilton you leave behind the hustle and bustle of the 20 millions metropolis.
Peace characterize the ground floor, the large lounge area is particularly impressive.
The various seating options are pleasant.
Whether a table for two, four or a small group, there are enough options for every occasion.
The view from the Nile-side rooms over the river and the city is breathtaking.
Thanks to its central location, the hotel is ideal for sightseeing the city’s historical sights.
There are many conference and seminar rooms.
Lets say perfect for the MICE industry.
The Ministry of Tourism has said that in the coming years, increasingly large and long Nile cruises from Cairo will begin their almost 1000-kilometer journey down the Nile via Luxor to Aswan.
This may also be a reason why the Hilton Nile will continue to play a major role among the city’s luxury hotels.
Furthermore he hotel offers yummy international food, it has a very good restaurant and a lovely breakfast buffet.
There is also a nightclub at the hotel, the name is Latex (perhaps because of the bar chairs).
The concierge service is amazing – they help with everything from purchasing tours to retrieving feminine items from a pharmacy.
If you like a room with a view, I would suggest to book the Executive Suites and take the Nile-side view.
Bucket list: Go to the Islamic Cairo the Giza Pyramids and Luxor.
