We made a nice presstrip to Neuruppin and checked in @ the Hotel Mark Brandenburg Resort.
It is easy to see why people love to come to this lovely region and hotel to enjoy the silence and the spa “Fontane Therme”.
With its softly bubbling salty indoor and outdoor pools and tranquil massage rooms, it sits right on the shore of Lake Neuruppin, in the idyllic small town of Neuruppin, just 70 minutes drive north from Berlin.
The hotel Mark Brandenburg Resort is a 4star hotel and the spa is close to perfection.
It offers a very attractive location, an excellent room service and its just great to be here.
We got a nice big room with a view on the lake. The Spa is just wonderful, the view on the lake fantastic and our room was very confortable. The gym court was well equipped and you get wifi access in the room. It is a bit weird that you should have to turn on tv to go online. Anyway.
It offers a huge spa area, pools, 7 great saunas (indoor and outdoor) opportunities and even a sea access from the seaside sauna. A very special experience to take a bath in the Neuruppin lake in November.
The history is worth it to tell, the famous german poet Theodor Fontane was born in Neuruppin, so inspired when he did his walking tours in Mark Brandenburg. You will be astounded by the peaceful seclusion and idyllic beauty of the countryside.
The perfect place for a diner are the two hotel restaurants “Parzival” and “Seewirtschaft”.
I enjoyed nice local fish.
It came together with a nice white wine from Saxony.
Perfect to play nearby golf.
Its worth it to come to Neuruppin.
