New York, New York.
By Jens Hoffmann
Besides all the visa trouble and the nightmare immigration stories. I stll love New York and especially the Mandarin Oriental.
Stylish, contemporary in design, get some oriental flair, Mandarin Oriental, New York redefines luxury as New York City’s high sophisticated hotel. For me the nicest hotel in New York.
The Mandarin Oriental’s CEO is the german Susanne Hatje, a powerful lady with style. Before she was in charge for Mandarin Munic, Hongkong & Boston. The guests are kings, for sure.
The awesome hotel includes a few suites and is situated at the union of Columbus Circle and Central Park. Mandarin Oriental, New York’s floor-to-ceiling windows captivate guests with commanding views of Central Park, the Hudson River and the Manhattan skyline.
It has an amazing spa.
Just joyful.
New York’s hospitality industry is changing in both directions, up and down. Under new leadership makes the hotel a fantastic impression.
The service is better in all areas, every guest will be welcomed in the Time Warner building at Columbus Circle by a butler, then takes the elevator to the lobby in the 35th floor, the rooms and suites are up to 54th floor.
The modern and comfortably furnished rooms have a touch of Asian luxury and great views over the Central Park and Manhattan. The bathrooms are elegant and functional, always placed the bathroom outside of the wet cell.
The restaurant on the 35th floor with magnificent views of Manhattan combines Asian cuisines with French classical elements, I would say an artistic and modern approach to French and Japanese cuisine.
Hmm, really yummy, can highly recommend it.
My latest highlight in NY.
