Namaste – First of all India is incredible.
We landed in Mumbai. Huge red buses, massive green cricket ground and the azure sea. All coverage on the canvas of this city.
Skyscrapers and Victorian heritage. Mumbai presents past and and present in elegant ways.
The “Gateway of India” was built in 1927 to commemorate Queen Mary and King George V, it is also the place from which the last of the British army troops left a independent India by sea.
Well, when I arrived I wondered if I booked the right location but when I checked I changed my mind.
The Vivanta by Taj is a special hideaway and well-known in healing traditions of old India.
The Jiva Grande at Vivanta Madikeri is designed to help you arrive at a state of balance and self-awareness. A great experience in Madikeri is the rainforest’s with its secrets across 200 green acres. A private Eden, perched on an idyllic hill-side nearly 4000 feet above sea level.
The resort houses villas with stunning vistas and a 30,000 sq ft Jiva Grande Spa that delves five floors of a rainforest and star-lights the Gudda Bath experience.
Just in between the rainforest, the Vivanta offers a perfect wellness space with a view, private spa suites, a relaxation deck, a wellness café and the signature Jiva experience – the Gudda Bath that draws from the local ethos of Coorg and is found in traditional households of the region.
Coorg promises the next high in luxurious meditation.
There are so many changes eco-farming, buddhism travel, e-visa, holistic tourism.
All this comes with more than 350 species of flora and fauna and a great panorama view from our suite.
Truly a suite with a view.
I did my best to explore the rainforest with a naturalist insider ruminate at the Buddha garden.
My tip: travel further up North in direction Pakistan and enjoy the border ceremony.
I spent only five days in this magical place but could have stayed years.
