I enjoyed the 4 Trident resort in Opio, it is located in the heart of the Cote D’Azur, perfect for families and couples who want a taste a bit of the french paradise.
The newly renovated resort is set in the French countryside on the idyllic French Rivera, a few kilometers away from Grasse and behind the city of Cannes.
It is an oasis of recuperation, you can play golf, relax under the olive groves and pine trees or try new the Club Med CREACTIVE Playground in partnership with Cirque du Soleil.
Club Med holidays used to be so sexy that Serge Gainsbourg wrote a song about them.
The Club Med experience is a French twist, it is “Sex and Sun” with its regime of tanning, tennis, golf and party satirised in the 1978 film Les Bronzés.
Serge Gainsbourg’s song is sometime away, Club Med had a crisis, closed a couple of clubs but after the entry of Chinese Fosun Group (nowadays they own 90% of Club Med) they will start to open 18 new Club Med’s globally from Sri Lanka, Spain, Indonesia, of course in China and Opio.
Guests can experience and discover the natural beauty and fascinating culture of the region.
The rooms which have new balconies added and/or new lighting allowing guests privacy and stunning views. The resort now offers a selection of international dishes, superb French cuisine and a dedicated Provençal menu designed by a team of exceptionally talented chefs.
Overlook the landscape from the newly renovated main restaurant terrace while sampling delicacies from the local area.
On the menu sample fresh salads and classic seafood dishes, or sip French wines from the local area like “Miraval” by Btangelina.
Following the success of Club Med CREACTIVE by Cirque du Soleil, Opio introduces it to Europe for the first time.
The resort will host a hige playground dedicated to the arts of circus, where adults and children alike are invited to live the experience inspired by the unexpected world of the Cirque du Soleil shows.
From artistic to acrobatic activities, guests can learn new skills and try their hand at up to 30 activities including ying trapeze, aerial wall dance, high bungee, aerial silk, trampoline, juggling material, all under expert staff supervision from our ‘Gentils Circassiens’ trained by Cirque du Soleil and Club Med.

Children and adults alike can choose from a list of exceptional sports including tennis, archery, football, golf, volleyball, pilates and tness classes, just to name a few.
Guests can enjoy state-of-the-art equipment and exclusive, fun teaching from G.O®s trained in their discipline, sun loungers and a pool exclusively for adults.
For people looking for relaxation, the resort spa offers treatment rooms, Roman Baths, Zen tea rooms and an extensive massage/ service menu.
While adults can enjoy the peace and tranquillity of the resort, children can enjoy the dedicated kids’ clubs and services.
On offer is also the opportunity to sample a classic day at a private beach along the French Riviera in Cannes. At La Plage in Mandelieu you can spend the day soaking up the sun, sand and sea.

Joyful is it to visit Grasse and its traditional perfume factory and traditional olive oil groves or Cannes with its bars & restaurants along La Croisette seaside promenade.
I enjoyed the revitalisation of the senses and holistic rejuvenation of body and soul in the ClubMed spa.
The is a relaxing place and the massages are really good, paired with select interior and a fine service.

The Club Med has a intimate feeling and is still a families place, especially for parents who are looking for vacation. The kids will be able to run from one end to the other and still be well within eye-shot.
We played tennis, golf (pitch & put), if you’re a runner, bring your sneakers. There are numerous paved pathways that wind through Club Med beautiful property, suitable for runners.
We could have spent all day time at this place if we were not to busy playin table tennis, golf, tennis and enjoying the off property excursions.Chapeau, Club Med really did a great job.
