We made a fantastic press trip to the Franconian Switzerland and checked in @ the hotel Victoria. The hotel is a beautiful, privately run 4 star hotel, which can look back on more than 100 years of history and tradition.

Built in 1896, it is listed today as a historical building under monumental protection. It located a short stroll away from the train station, just opposite the “Neue Kunsthalle”.

So it is a perfect place right in the middle of Nuremberg’s Old Town, all the important sights are within easy walking distance. The combination of a historical surrounding, modern interior and the individual hospitality of the friendly staff will make you feel at home away from home.
The fampous old city of Nuremberg is Bavaria’s second largest city and alive with history.
The best way to explore Nuremberg is to stroll around, highlights along the way include the original city walls, the Castle Quarter with its sand stone and timber framed houses and of course the Imperial Castle “Kaiserburg”, which was the residence of Germany’s kings.

The city’s most famous resident was Albrecht Dürer, the greatest artist of the Northern Renaissance. died also in Nuremberg.

Shortly the airport will be renamed after him, it will be the “Albrecht Dürer International Airport”.

Furthermore we enjoyed a great classic by the Nuremberg Philharmonic Orchestra with a lovely picknick in the famous “Luitpoldhain” parc.
