Crowned by a gold leaf ceiling the magnificent white marble lobby sparkles under the light of spectacular handcrafted chandeliers.
The 252 spacious, luxurious and elegantly appointed rooms and suites convey a warm and welcoming ambience.
Timber floors, rich fabrics, hand-tufted rugs and specially commissioned artwork further accentuate the elegance of the room.
The Oberoi pampers its guests with unforgettable elegant moments and delivers thanks to its Spa unique moments of well-being.
In the spa we got lovely massages, an oasis of calm, a haven to rediscover serenity with Oberoi signature therapies.
For me it was swedish massage with asian influence and for my wife the “Balinese” treatment. Just great.
Besides the spa, there is also a 24 hour fitness center and a 25 meter swimming heated swimmingpool, a perfect place.
We checked in at Deluxe Room 1203, a huge luxury room.
The interior is elegant and very well balanced, decor, art, colors and furniture quite conservative.
We liked the floor to ceiling windows framed the view over Dubai and Burj Kalifa.
The bathroom embody perfect elegance, an exclusive oasis of well-being.
The breakfast offers a great pan asianstyle buffet of many traditional breakfasttypes from different areas in the world.
The food fresh prepared and the possibility to sit in the courtyard and relax in the sun, gave the breakfast an stylish extra dimension.
The Oberoi provides all the things you need out of a 5 star luxury hotel with 4 different restaurants, one of these being Ananta, which is amongst one of the very best places to dine in the entire city.
As we didn’t have that much time in the city, we didn’t have the time to try the restaurant.
The service was amazing, the indian staff helped us with everything.
The Oberoi is more a elegant business hotel, than the typical tourist hotel, but holds everything you would need.
The location is a little remote but for sure soon be very central in the city.
Only a 20 minute drive from Dubai International Airport.
I would highly recommend this hotel.
For me the perfect place with a view on Burj Khalifa.
