The stunning beauty of the natural environment is coulisse as well as the hotel’s main attraction. Far from the hustle and bustle of everyday life, it impresses with the unsurpassed view of the Wetterstein and Zugspitz mountain peaks. The two parts of the building, the original “Mary Portman House” and the new annex, which is an exquisite blend of wood and glass, combine well.

Both parts of the building fit perfectly into the environment, without however dominating it.

Our covered terrace as well as a roof top Yoga-platform provide a special place to practice. In delightful weather with stunning surroundings, Yoga in the fresh air is a rewarding activity.

During spring, summer and fall: hiking, jogging, mountain biking/cycling, Nordic walking or simply take a relaxed stroll to a secluded meadow.

Relax in our wellness area with its selection of 9 saunas and steam baths. Take a deep breath on our outdoor terrace while listening to the rustling of majestic pines. Find your favorite place and get some rest in one of our comfortable relaxation rooms or conversation corners with romantic log fires, stunning views onto the meadow and forest, and fresh running water from our own mountain spring.
