The Swedish Vikings who walked east were such splendid physical specimens that many people fall in love with such tall guys, perfect bodies, big as palm trees.
Besides that they set a capital city as stunning as they look. Stockholm is a cluster of jewel-like islands, and its long, light-filled days make summer the ideal time for your raid.
We enjoyed Stockholm, checked in at a new hotel in Stockholm’s city center. It’s called Hotel Kungsträdgården and has opened its doors in January 2015.
Entering the lobby and lounge, the sophisticated city domicile reveals its elegant, unique design.
The family owned hotel, offers 98 individually decorated rooms in a classic Gustavian style and the extraordinary atrium restaurant. Truly a culinary experience of higher standard.
We did a lovely day trip on the water. I could recommend a two-hour boat tour takes in 12 of Stockholm’s bridges and the locks that connect Lake Mälaren with the Baltic Sea. Easy to enjoy the terracotta-toned architecture along the way. It was truly fun.
Its worth a visit, we enjoyed our time at the Hotel Kungsträdgården.
